Bumps
Trigger single-shot bump layers from a button bank.
The Bumps panel holds your single-trigger Bump-effect layers as a bank of buttons. Where the Timeline runs chasers and motion against the beat grid, a bump fires only while you hold it. If you want to trigger a different layer as a bump, such as a Movement layer, right-click it and choose Move to Bumps.

The panel appears by default in the Live View workspace. Add it to any other workspace from Window > Add panel.
Interface
Button bank
Each bump is a button. The button shows the layer name, the effect it renders, and a color dot for the effect category. Buttons wrap into a grid that widens from two columns to four as the panel grows.
A button highlights while it is held and shows an orange ring when it is the selected bump.
Triggering a bump
Press and hold a bump button to play it. The layer's opacity overrides to full for as long as you hold, and releasing fades it out over the layer's hold time. Set the hold time in Layer Settings.
Pressing a button also selects that bump, so its properties load in Layer Settings and its effect opens in the Node Editor.
Working with bumps
Adding bumps
Click Add bump to open the effect browser. The browser is filtered to Bump effects. Choosing an effect creates a bump layer and selects it.
Reordering bumps
Drag a button by its grip handle to change the order within the bank. Bump order is independent of Timeline layer order.
Right-click menu
Right-click a button for Delete and Duplicate, or choose Move to Timeline to send the bump to the Timeline panel. Rename a bump from the Layer Settings panel.
