Share a Patch

Print a patch sheet or publish a shareable link.

Share a Patch

A patch sheet lists every fixture in your project with its type, mode, universe, start address, channel range, and count. The Fixtures panel toolbar offers two ways to share it: a printable PDF and a public link.

Print as PDF generates a patch sheet on your machine. It works offline and needs no account. The sheet has a header with the project name, the date, and totals (fixtures, universes, channels), followed by one row per fixture sorted by universe and address. Spectralite builds the document and opens a save dialog so you can store or print it.

Create shareable link uploads a snapshot of the patch and returns a public URL at spectralite.studio/patch/.... Anyone with the link can view the sheet in a browser; no sign-in is required to view it. Publishing does require you to be signed in, since shares are tied to your account.

Once a project has a link, the action becomes Update shared link. Re-publishing keeps the same URL and refreshes its contents with the current patch, so the link you already handed out reflects your latest changes.

A share expires 30 days after the last time you published it. Re-publishing resets the 30-day window. To remove a link before it expires, use Stop sharing, which deletes the share and clears it from the project.

The Shared Patches tab in your account dashboard lists every link you have published, with its fixture and universe totals, when it was last updated, and how long until it expires. From there you can copy or open a link, or delete one to stop sharing it.
