What is a fixture?
A fixture in Spectralite represents a physical lighting device. Each fixture has a name, type, and manufacturer; the DMX channels it responds to; an address in a DMX universe; and a position in 3D space used for visualization.
Fixture types
Spectralite groups supported devices into four families. LED fixtures cover wash and pixel-free devices such as LED pars, bars, and panels. Intelligent fixtures include moving heads, mirror scanners, and hybrid spot/wash/beam units with motorized position and color. Pixel fixtures cover individually addressable hardware: LED strips, tape, and 2D matrices. Effect fixtures cover lasers, strobes, and hazers.
Fixture library
Spectralite includes definitions for thousands of fixtures. Open Project > Library Manager > Fixtures to search by manufacturer or model, or browse by manufacturer.
