Spectralite manages four types of assets:

Local vs Cloud
Local Library
Your personal library is stored on your computer:
- macOS:
~/Library/Application Support/spectralite/ - Windows:
%APPDATA%\spectralite\ - Linux:
~/.config/spectralite/
Assets in your library are available across all your projects.
Community Cloud
The community platform provides:
- Fixture sharing - Download definitions for thousands of fixtures
- Effect sharing - Discover creative effects from other users
- Quality curation - Staff picks highlight the best resources
Quick Start
Getting Fixtures
- Open Window > Library Manager
- Go to the Fixtures tab
- Click + on any fixture to add it to your project
- For more fixtures, check the Community tab
Saving Your Work
- Create an effect in the Node Editor
- Open the Library Manager > Effects tab
- Click Save Current Effect
- Choose to save to Library (global) or Project (local)
Sharing Resources
- Sign up at spectralite.studio
- Open Library Manager > Community tab
- Click Upload and select your file
- Resources are reviewed before publishing
