- How do I upgrade to Pro?
- You can upgrade to a Pro subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Once subscribed, your license will automatically unlock unlimited universes in the application.
- What happens after my subscription ends?
- Everything continues to work, but output beyond the first 5 universes will turn off briefly every 5 minutes. To maintain uninterrupted output across all universes, an active subscription is required.
- Can I run Spectralite offline?
- Yes. The application only requires a one-time activation when you add or update a license. After activation, Spectralite will continue to function offline for as long as your license remains valid.
- Is there a free trial available?
- The free version of Spectralite serves as a full trial. You can use all universes to test your setup, but output beyond the first 5 universes will be turned off briefly every 5 minutes.
- What does “Unlimited Art-Net Universes” mean?
- Spectralite supports the full Art-Net address space of 32.768 universes (16.777.216 DMX channels). This is the maximum the Art-Net protocol allows, so there is no software-imposed limit. On a typical Apple Silicon MacBook Pro, you can easily run hundreds of universes.
