An effect engine you wire yourself.

Build any look by connecting nodes. Or start from 57 ready-made effects and change them. Either way, the lights can lock to the music by themselves.

Connect nodes. Build any look.

An effect is a chain of simple steps: read a pixel's position, shape a wave, mix a color, send it to the lights. You build it by connecting nodes, one block into the next.

  • 235 nodes across 20 categories
  • Generators, waves, shapes and tools, color, spatial, physics, and math
  • Input nodes for audio spectrum, NDI video, and Ultraleap hand tracking
  • Full speed from ten fixtures to ten thousand; output never stutters while you build effects live

57 effects, ready to run.

Not every show needs a graph built from scratch. Spectralite ships 57 ready-made effects you can drop onto a layer and run, then open in the editor and reshape when you want to make them yours.

The effect browser: a search field, category filter tabs for Loop, Bump, and Movement, and a grid of ready-made effects with live previews, including Beat Blocks, Beat Lines, Chase, Colorwheel, Movement Figure 8, Simplex, Strobe, and Wavescape.

The show stays in time by itself.

Turn on beat detection and Spectralite finds the tempo from the incoming audio, then holds the lock as a DJ eases between tracks or a live band drifts. Every effect lands on the beat it was written for, at any tempo. Tap tempo and manual BPM cover the rest.

The Beat Matcher panel while Auto Beat-Sync is locked to live audio. The beat display's four blocks flash orange in turn at 128 BPM. Below the large BPM readout sit the halve and double tempo buttons, the minus and plus 10 millisecond nudge buttons, Tap Tempo, and Cue Align. The Auto Beat-Sync row shows a Locked status chip, 94 percent confidence, and the enable switch turned on.

Position in, color out.

Every effect is a function of a pixel's position in space, so a chase sweeps your rig by coordinate, not by index. Rearrange the fixtures in the map and the motion follows.

Professional lighting control that speaks every standard, runs on your Mac, and costs what it says on the page.

No dongle. No quote. No lock-in.
