Quick Start Guide

This guide will help you get up and running with Spectralite in just a few minutes.

System Requirements

Before installing Spectralite, make sure your Mac meets the following requirements:

• macOS 12.0 (Monterey) or later
• Apple Silicon or Intel processor
• 8 GB RAM minimum (16 GB recommended)
• 500 MB available disk space

Installation

Step 1: Download

Download the latest version of Spectralite from our website. The installer is a standard macOS disk image (.dmg) file.

Step 2: Install

1. Open the downloaded .dmg file
2. Drag the Spectralite application to your Applications folder
3. Eject the disk image

Step 3: First Launch

When you first launch Spectralite, you may need to allow it in your Security & Privacy settings.

Connecting Your Hardware

DMX Interfaces

Spectralite supports a wide range of DMX interfaces:

• USB to DMX adapters
• Art-Net over Ethernet
• sACN (E1.31) protocol

Creating Your First Project

1. Open Spectralite
2. Click "New Project" from the welcome screen
3. Configure your output settings
4. Add your first fixture
